Hi I'm Mia, a final year Chemistry student at the University of Sheffield. I understand the challenges of maths and how it can be an overwhelming subject at times. However, through breaking it down, topic by topic and building strong skills, maths can be a fun subject. I am a very friendly and open person who thrives when helping others! I love to make sure students feel comfortable asking questions that they would feel silly asking to others. Also, I love to see progress in the students maths ability and confidence as the lessons progress!

    My daughter was struggling with Maths in year 9/10, averaging grades 3 and 4 in mock exams. With minimum entry to her sixth form being Maths at grade 6, we sought Mia’s help. She has been amazing at explaining and addressing flaws in my daughters knowledge, and has pushed her to believe in herself. When my daughter opened her GCSE results, she immediately looked for maths, where she received a grade 6!!! And was only 3 marks off a grade 7. Without Mia’s helped, this wouldn’t have been achievable and we will continue to thank her for her efforts. Highly recommended Mia to anyone in a similar situation :)
